Request the item

Select Request Purchase on any listing. The prepared message includes the inventory number and prompts for quantity, delivery ZIP code or local pickup.

Confirm condition

Ask for available documentation, testing status and any additional photographs you need. Appropriate third-party testing may be arranged at the interested party's expense when the scope and terms are agreed in advance.

Arrange delivery

Refer to each listing for shipping and delivery charges and terms. Appointment-only local pickup is also available.

Confirm your invoice

Applicable sales tax is additional. Shipping and delivery charges follow the terms on the item’s listing and will be shown on your invoice. Provide the complete delivery address and access requirements or confirm local pickup. Resale and other exemption certificates must be reviewed before payment.

PAYMENT POLICY

Clear terms before anything moves.

Items are released or shipped only after payment is confirmed. Applicable sales tax is additional. When a listing includes standard delivery at the full asking price, that benefit and its exclusions will appear on the listing and final invoice. Other items use buyer-paid shipping.

Bank wire transfer

Required for freight shipments, higher-value machinery and direct sales over $2,500. Release follows confirmation by our bank.

Credit or debit card

Accepted through an authorized Copper Holler Surplus, LLC invoice for direct sales under $2,500, or by chip or tap at local pickup.

Cash at local pickup

Accepted for appointment-only pickup. Payment is counted and a receipt is provided before the item is released.

Marketplace checkout

Purchases originating on eBay or another marketplace must be paid through that marketplace's required checkout system.

Not accepted: checks, money orders, peer-to-peer payment apps or cryptocurrency. Card information is never requested by text or email, and payment screenshots are not accepted as proof of payment.
